Project “Development of Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters”
Project objective is to promote judicial cooperation in criminal matters and contribute to the effective and consistent application of the European Union’s mutual recognition instruments in criminal proceedings.
Project results:
- On 18–19 June 2019, a study visit took place at the National Courts Administration of the Republic of Latvia and the Zemgale Regional Court. During the visit, representatives of the National Courts Administration of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Justice of Croatia shared experiences aimed at strengthening judicial cooperation in criminal matters and improving the effective and consistent application of EU mutual recognition instruments.
Project value: EUR 97 098.22.
Funding sources: European Commission funds and the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania.
